My impression of Noordwijk on the sea coast while painting en plein air is unforgettable. The sea stretched to the horizon, with the waves rhythmically rolling against the beach. The sound of the lapping water and the soft rustle of the wind created a calming symphony.
The color palette that nature offered was breathtaking. The sea sparkled in different shades of blue and green, while the sky above me was a mixture of pastel pink and orange, where the sun slowly set. The sand on the beach seemed to glow in warm shades of gold and beige, while the dunes around it were covered in a carpet of lush green.
I took the time to observe and capture every detail on my canvas. The texture of the sand, the frothy edges of the waves and the subtle reflections in the water were rendered with care and precision. It was as if I could feel the sea breeze and the energy of the environment in my brush strokes.
As I painted I felt a deep connection with nature. It was as if I was one with the landscape, soaking up the colours, smells and sounds and translating them into my artwork. It was a moment of pure creative freedom and inspiration.
The passers-by who admired my work shared in my enthusiasm for the beautiful surroundings. Some stopped to chat and share their own seacoast experiences. It was great to see how art brought people together and sparked conversations about the beauty and power of nature.
