How to buy a painting?

My artworks you can buy tapping the buttons in my blog or in the shop.

What is the difference between cardboard  and stretched canvas?

Why do I choose to paint on cardboard? Well, it's simple. I'm often out painting en plein-air, so I need lightweight supplies that I can easily carry with me. That's where my "canvas book" comes in handy. It's like a notebook, but instead of paper, it's filled with small canvases.

Painting outdoors gives my work a different energy compared to studio pieces. There's something about capturing scenes from life that adds a unique vibe to each piece.

After finishing a plein-air session, I let the paintings dry and then mount them onto thick cardboard. This way, they can be framed in a regular photo frame without needing glass. The thickness of the cardboard matches perfectly with the standard A4 frame size (21 x 29 cm).  I actually love how these paintings look in their frames.

Without glass, you can fully appreciate the rich texture of the oil paint, which would be squeezed by glass. These frames are readily available in various styles at any shop. However, if you're interested, you can also find canvases mounted on wooden frames in my shop.

These small paintings are affordable and capture the essence of nature beautifully.
