My August plein air experience in the heather fields was truly remarkable. I live in an area surrounded by splendid heather fields, and in August, they burst into bloom, filling the air with the sweet scent of honey.

I particularly enjoy the combination of green and purple in the heather fields. The heather can be so diverse, and on this day, they appeared rather subtle. I've painted these fields during a sunset before, aiming to capture the last rays of the sun shining through the heather, giving it a warm purple hue. I'll share this piece in an upcoming video.
