New year in a night trein to Munich

Going to art journey by train I met New year somewhere between Mainz and Frankfurt.

I started my journey in Amsterdam. The night train departs at seven in the evening, so from that time onward, I was gazing out the window at the fireworks, first in Amsterdam, and then throughout my journey.

Somewhere around 11 o'clock, we were traveling along the River Main with its hilly valley and villages along the banks. The train goes from Koblenz along the Main, and around 12 o'clock, we observed fireworks reflecting in the river. It was beautiful. The nighttime romance with the lights from the towns spread along the river left an impression and inspired creativity.

I couldn't help but reflect it in my art so I took my phone where I also paint.

My digital sketch in Ibis Paint was created on New Year's Eve while I was on a night train journey to Munich. I enjoyed the view of the fireworks as the train travelled from Amsterdam to Frankfurt, and then I peacefully dozed off.
